Utah

Charlie and Mary took the kids back up to Utah with them, my kids were SO EXCITED!!! They had a blast with Grandma and Grandpa and their cousins.

After they were gone a week I went up there to pick them up and the fun continued. The girls convinced Grandma that they needed to celebrate their birthday early so we did :>)

I was able to visit with Jessica, she was only a week out from lung surgery but was doing pretty good all things considered. Love that lady, cancer sucks!
We can't go to Utah without getting shaved ice!
 these girls were inseparable.
They also had lots of fun with the next door neighbor girl :>)
We went to janine's house for lunch on Saturday, always a good time with my sisters!
Good times which included awesome dance parties. I can't even say how much I love this picture.
It was a quick but fun trip! So grateful for amazing inlaws who love my kids so much. And I am glad to have my little people back home with me :>)

Newport Beach

While the kids were gone Rich and I took the opportunity to go to Newport Beach for a couple of nights! We started off the trip by going to the temple. And Cafe Rio :>)
We went on a couple of bike rides...
and a nice run down to the pier.
We also ate lots of yummy food! I wish I would have gotten a picture of our dinner at the Rusty Pelican, the food was DELICIOUS and we were on the patio right on the water. So pretty! It was great to spend a few days together with no interruptions. I even got to read a book on the beach, it was kind of amazing :>)

Gray Vacation

We had lots of fun with Rich's family this summer! We started by going to a timeshare in Vegas for a few days. It was stinking HOT so we spent a lot of time in the pool!
Rich and his parents finally got to go to the Gold and Silver pawnshop. And Mary bought her Rick bobblehead :>)
We got a picture of all the grandkids (and pretended Wyatt was there, he is halfway through his mission now!)
Love these cute cousins who were all born within 3 months of each other.

On the 4th of July about half the group went to the 51s game. They got a great firework show. We tried to go see fireworks with Jill on the strip the night before but weren't in a good spot to see them. So the girls and I watched a few fireworks on the 4th over the roof of the timeshare but it was kind of sad really!
There was lots of game playing and crafting!
And the moms got an afternoon away to get Sonic and play penny slots (Judy hit it big, I quit after losing $10!)
We got to go see Aly in her dance competition as well.
After Vegas, the Jorgensens and Charlie and Mary came back to California. We were able to go to the beach and SuperMex!

Afterwards we went for a quick spin with Rich at work.
We went to see Charlotte and Eliza's water polo tournament with Amy, Charlie and Mary. Afterwards we got Cafe Rio which is always delicious!!!
We spent a day up in LA with the Jorgensens. We started off at Olvera Street.

Afterwards we went to the temple. It was Jill and Darin's 19th anniversary, fun to be back where it all started!
Afterwards we got AMAZING ice cream sandwiches at Diddy Riese then drove up to the Griffith Park observatory.
We finished up with dinner at Mel's Diner.
Always sad to say goodbye!
