Christmas

Christmas came up on us quickly this year!
We had Grandma and Grandpa Gray as well as Janine and Kristi staying with us, and my mom and Bob were able to join us in the morning as well. We had a lot of fun!
I asked the kids their favorite presents, and this was their answers:
-Brendan: video game
-Carson: remote controlled flying car
-Sabrina: temple necklace
-Whitney: doll house

Later that afternoon the rest of the Gray family came over for dinner!

It was a full house but we had a good time. It was especially nice to see Amy who had just gotten out of the hospital. Glad she didn't have to spend Christmas there!

Jones Christmas party and the Jorgensens

Jill and Darin were in town and we went to visit them at their timeshare. The water was a little chilly for me but it didn't slow the kids down AT ALL. They were super excited to see their cousins!

The next night we had the Jones' family Christmas party at our house. There were almost 40 people which gets a little crazy but we had a good time!

Love this family of ours, it was the first time the Jorgensens have been down for Christmas in many many years so that was a treat!

Camo Belts

It was time for another belt test! I didn't know if we were going to make it, we got on the freeway and it was completely stopped due to an accident. We were eventually able to get off and take side streets (which weren't much better) but we barely squeaked in on time! It stressed me out but didn't seem to bother the boys :>)

Now they have their camo belts and are moving out of the beginning class. I love to watch them do this, they are having so much fun and learning so many important lessons! Which SOMETIMES translate into real life ha ha. We love their instructor Mr. Giordano!
And Mr. Rector is awesome too. Now onto the intermediate class! Thanks to Mom and Bob for coming to watch.

Random Christmas Stuff

We went to the ward Christmas breakfast and the kids were able to see Santa again. Always fun!
We also went to Carson's first grade Christmas performance. They have been working really hard on their songs and sounded great!
Afterwards we got to go back to his class and decorate gingerbread houses. Holy moly that kid is particular, any candy he didn't like or didn't know if he liked he refused to put on. It still turned out cute though :>)
We were also luck to have Grandpa Gray and TWO grandmas there as well!

Dance Recital

The girls had their first dance recital, and they were super excited! We put on some make-up and did fancy "dance hair" and they were in heaven! Rich had to work but Grandma and Bob were able to come.

 these girls were so cute!!!

Thanks Miss Kim, these girls sure had a blast :>)

Every year I look forward to our girls' trip to St. George!!! So nice to get away with fun friends and escape everyday life for a few days. Meagan was able to come with us this year, and Shelley and Melissa flew in as well. Woo hoo! These women are some of my favorite people in the whole world. We absolutely CANNOT go there without getting french toast at Kneaders.
And we always hit up the Dicken's festival.

We got pedicures too, I sat in that massage chair for 1 1/2 hours I think and it was lovely!!!

We were able to go to the temple on Saturday morning, such a beautiful place :>)

And SO MUCH shopping it was ridiculous!!! Got pretty much all of my Christmas shopping done though.
Sunday morning we went to church at Kim's grandparents' ward, it is a senior community so everyone there is old and it is SO QUIET!!! Not a kid to be found anywhere and it is so strange. I almost don't even know what to do with myself without 4 kids climbing all over me during sacrament meeting.

It was nice and squishy on the way home, I'm amazed we managed to fit everything in the car! And for the first time in a couple years no one threw up at home, Rich appreciated that :>)
