Yeah...so this post is a little late. Brendan's soccer season ended about a month ago, and it was a lot of fun. After the last game, we had a little party at the park. It was FREEZING, but the kids got medals and desserts and thought it was fabulous :>) Coach Jeff was wonderful! Brendan was not exactly the most skilled player out there, but Jeff had a goal that every player would score at least once. Brendan was the last one to accomplish that, but he had a great coach who worked hard to get him there!
We had some really good friends on our team, and made some new ones too!

This is my favorite picture from the whole season (thanks Niki for sharing all your photos!). This was right after Brendan scored his goal (the one that went in OUR goal ha ha!). He was SOOO excited! I felt so happy for him. I am also glad that I was wearing sunglasses, because it is possible that I MIGHT have teared up just a little (when did I turn into such an emotional person? I don't know).

Overall it was a fun season. Brendan learned a lot, and had a good time. We were ready for it to be over though :>) The last few weeks, everytime it was time to go to a practice or a game Brendan informed me he didn't want to do soccer or baseball, he just wanted to do karate. Guess we might have to give that a try sometime :>)
