The last few years, we have been able to go to Knott's Berry Farm around Christmas time when Rich can get himself and one other person in for free (due to his job). It's always something we enjoy. We usually go a few weeks before Christmas, and it has never been very crowded. We went between Christmas and New Year's this time, and it was a whole other story! It was really crowded, but we still had a good time. We started the day off by meeting up with some of the Peanut's gang (and Carson was mad because...well, because he is 3 and a moody kid ha ha).
We started off in Camp Snoopy where the boys went on a couple of rides...
and the girls just looked cute.
They did get to ride the schoolbus though, which they seemed to like!
We spent a LOT of time waiting in lines, and the kids got a little silly...
but were pretty good overall.
Brendan wanted to go on GhostRider (it is fun now that he is tall enough to go on some of the big kid rides!), so while we waited in line (for almost TWO HOURS...man those lines are deceptively long!) Rich took the rest of the kids around the park. Carson wanted to go on the carousel (until he was actually on it at which point he freaked out a bit)
but it was nothing a sucker couldn't fix!
All in all it was a fun day with our family. We look forward to going again next year, but we will try to avoid winter break next time :>)
