Christmas

Christmas this year was really great. The boys are at SUCH a fun age. They were so excited for everything, and I loved it!!! Here is Brendan's letter to Santa (he sure asked for a lot more than this, but the past couple weeks he has developed a mild Harry Potter obsession and wanted to make sure Santa knew it!). Not sure why he insisted on cutting it up so small????
My mom and sister were able to be here Christmas Eve. We watched Mr Kreuger's Christmas (while Carson loudly proclaimed the whole time "I DON'T LIKE THIS MOVIE!"), read the Christmas story, then the boys went outside to see if they could see the Christmas star.
Brendan was excited to put out reindeer food.
Christmas morning we woke the boys up a little after 7 (not sure how many years we will have to do that for???). Santa was very good to these naughty nice little boys!
The girls didn't quite get what all the fuss was about, but were happy to enjoy all the Christmas treats floating around!

After presents and breakfast, we went to church.  The girls enjoyed some cuddle time with Grandma while we were getting ready!
After church we came home to play for a bit, then headed over to my aunt and uncle's for Christmas dinner with the whole family. We sure fill up this minivan :>)
We had a great time with everyone!
Monday morning we were able to skype with my sister in Italy (after a whole lot of technical difficulties). We missed having her around this year! She seems to be doing great though. It was SO GOOD to see her!!!
Some of my favorite Christmas presents were the costumes. The girls look so stinkin cute in their princess outfits (although I'm not sure why these 2Ts are so small??? They are mostly in 12-18 month clothes now).
Lazybone Whitney finally decided this past week that she wants to walk!
The boys got some fun costumes too.
For Christmas, I got my mom and sister Glen Ivy passes. It was fun to spend the day relaxing and hanging around in the mud (although oddly enough I remember doing the mud thing for free with my sister many years ago ha ha!).

Now I am cleaning up the disaster scene that is my house, and feeling a little sad that it is all over! Til next year...
